Business Fair set for Saturday, April 4 in Alexandria; entrepreneurs are welcome

 A resource fair for local entrepreneurs is scheduled from 9 a.m. until noon Saturday, April 4, at the Central Louisiana Business Incubator, 1501 Wimbledon Drive, Alexandria.
 
The event is offered free of charge. It is funded by Cenla Advantage Partnership, the City of Alexandria and the Entrepreneurial League System of Central Louisiana, with additional funding provided by the Central Louisiana Business Incubator and the Central Louisiana Economic Development Alliance.
 
Participants will hear presentations on a variety of topics, including:
·         How to use the Central Louisiana Business Incubator to build your emerging company.
·         The Small Business Development Center as a resource for small businesses in Cenla.
·         Using the Entrepreneurial League System of Central Louisiana to move your business into the fast lane.
·         Getting technical assistance for selling to the federal government.
·         How to apply for an SBA loan.
 
Entrepreneurs will have the opportunity to ask questions and seek assistance on a one-to-one basis with resource providers, such as: Central Louisiana Business League, EDGE Cenla, Kisatchie-Delta Regional Planning and Development District, Louisiana Economic Development, Manufacturing Extension Partnership of Louisiana, Rapides Parish Sales and Use Tax Office, Small Business Development Center, Southwest Trade Adjustment Assistance Center and SCORE – Counselors to America’s Small Business.
 
These service providers are dedicated to increasing the number of entrepreneurs in Central Louisiana as well as improving the success rates of our smaller enterprises.
